About Us

Walking into a new church can be intimidating and at times terrifying depending on your previous church experience. If you are considering attending one of our worship gatherings, we hope you know that you will be welcomed as you are and you will be in a safe environment where you will be valued.

1.

Worship, Education, and Events are "Come as you are." We are informal. Jeans and sneakers; shorts & t-shirts. We also share food and conversation together following worship and at most of our activities.

Children are highly valued in our community!

Babies and children of all ages are welcome to remain for the entire worship service, and a nursery is provided for children under 1st grade age for those who wish to utilize it. Children in the nursery are brought into the worship service to participate in the special Children's Time message during the service. We do our best accommodate so that parents can participate in as many actitivites as they wish.

2.

Music and the Arts. We utilize music for trauma healing, community-building, encouragement, and learning. We also appreciate various artful expressions like theater, dance, visual arts, etc. We welcome artists of all kinds who wish to express their gifts.

3.

Open & Shared Leadership. We value everyone's gifts. Whether you are a newcomer or someone who has been part of the faith community for years, we encourage your participation and your leadership. Our Council [board] meetings are open to all and anyone can participate in our worship, education, and service programs.
