Love Your Neighbor

LYN is a direct assistance program that is led by volunteers. We provide emergency rental assistance, groceries and/or grocery gift cards, transportation, and other emergency needs. If you would ilke to be part of this team, click below.

Disaster Relief

We work with the UCC Disaster Relief program that assists families and individuals who were/are affected by natural disasters, economic hardship, or other risk factors that cause housing insecurity or a lack of safety. Typical volunteer opportunities include cleaning, simple construction or remodeling, or painting.

LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES

Interfaith

We offer a safe and brave space for interfaith gatherings, so that people of different religious and secular traditions may learn from one another and cooperate to make their communities more open and accepting. We partner with local religious communities and other interfaith organizations to bring you interfaith immersion, service-learning, & educational events. We also curate grassroots interfaith advocacy, education, and cooperative projects.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness helps us access our  higher potentials to build inner strength and outer stability. We host mindfulness events and workshops for all levels and ages to cultivate calm, curious, and affirming spaces. We invite various mindfulness teachers to share with us each time we gather. This program is LGBT+ friendly and open to all faith or secular traditions. See our calendar for upcoming events.
